Loxley Brewery – LxL Co-Lab® London Dry Gin
We’ve had a close relationship with Loxley Brewery for a number of years… in fact we periodically get mistaken for one another. And we have often joked about a Loxley by Locksley collaboration. But at long last we sat down with them this summer, and figured out what direction we both wanted to go in with regard to flavour profiles.
Co-incidentally, about 20 years ago in one of John’s previous lives, a chef he used to work with (Benoît… this one’s partially on you) used to prepare a baked crêpe dessert which was topped with strawberries, and caramelised szechuan pepper… another unusually amazing flavour combination.
So after a number of trials, we give you our LxL Co-Lab which includes vacuum distilled strawberry, szechuan pepper, coriander leaf (a.k.a. cilantro) and pink grapefruit. It’s a belter… never a dull moment at the distillery.
